The tables are turned, however, when Dennis becomes a successful businessman who owns his own high-tech computer facility. Meanwhile, Nick's luck changes for the worst as both his perfect marriage ends in shambles and the family business fails. The two must learn to deal with their past and live as brothers in the present.

Hyperion Bay tries so hard, you can't help wishing the results were better. Go to Full Review

More than anything, Hyperion Bay is often uncomfortably soft and oozy as it monitors its young protagonist's deep introspection. Go to Full Review
Phil Gallo Variety 07/12/2019
The script and direction of Joseph Dougherty plays angst, seduction and anger with similar heavy-handedness. There's not a split-second of ambiguity to be found here, for the camera telegraphs every emotion and every forthcoming action. Go to Full Review

The engaging drama Hyperion Bay is a little more intelligent, a little more sensitive to the issues of the twenty- and thirtysomethings who struggle to make sense of their lives Go to Full Review

The pilot wasn't great, but it did show promise. This is one worth keeping an eye on. Go to Full Review

Not as flashy as Dawson's Creek or as emotionally engaging as Felicity, this WB drama about several generations of a modern-day family in northern California still has a lot going for it with strong writing from producer Joseph Dougherty. Go to Full Review
