Wanted to watch this because I liked the original back in the day, but this was utterly far-fetched. Acting was mediocre at best, but that's usually okay in horrors and thrillers. However, seems like the writers ran out of ideas and the killer ended up being a ridiculous choice. Kind of like Dan ended up being gossip girl in the end. Or those essays where at the end you wake up and it was all a dream. A lot of 'low-key' and 'high-key' jargon thrown in to make it relatable to the current era, but sheesh, no one can tell the twins apart? I know many identical twins, and when you are good friends, you can defs tell them apart. Other than how bad I think this was, it was still fun in a light-hearted way with enough gore to make it almost comedy-like.

After watching the full season i can honestly say it was a waste of time. Sure the signs for stupid writing were there all along. I just chose to believe the writers had a brain - but boy when the finale came it was the Stupidest twist ive ever watched on TV.

It's unoriginal and features unlikable characters. The plot is stupid, unbelievable and boring. It's also unnecessary vulgar abd trying to hard to be relevant and cool. I gave it 2 and a half episodes before I shut it off.

Well, the series is certainly anything but a horror series, let alone a slasher series. But, let's face it, the main movie wasn't really a slasher movie either. Maybe a soft slasher... ;) It's a good, exciting series. Although, I would categorize the series more as a drama/thriller.

Honestly pretty disappointed in this Amazon reboot. As a slasher fan this was just awful. The story gets hard to follow at some points and with little to no classic slasher jump scares... it was a slow experience. Do yourself a favor and skip this one.

Surprisingly the actors are probably the only thing that kept me wanting to watch the show. It's sad that the show had so much potential and it was ruined by horrible writing. It would have been better if they had kept the story short and quick but they dragged it out and made half the show not even make sense. I was so excited to watch the show but was very disappointed, not by the actors but by the writing team. I feel bad for the actors, they did what they could with what they had. It's a repeating thing with all of the Amazon Prime Original shows I have seen. They have been poorly written and not taking the time for. Just look at Amazon Prime original Panic, it was a good plot but ruined by the people who didn't care to take their time on the show. I believe Amazon Prime will not stop doing this, I think it's just easier for them to make a show barelly put effort in it, then cancel it, and go on to the next show. It's more messed up that this was supposed to be a reboot of the originale films to. I get that people think the ending is very unique but in all reality it's pretty crappy. She's going to put one psychopath in jail and not the other. At least Dylan didn't kill people he only was trying to get in the cult stuff which I do think is equally as bad but not as far as killing people. How would I be surprised though the main girl is messed up her self to. The ending ending were we can see that Dylan has the cult bible in prison and Riley still alive? It was a great start for the next season but with all the bad writing and just not good scripting, Im happy theres not a season 2. Because I know it would disappoint me more to see great potential put to waist.

Ya know how there are some movies out there that are terrible, but for some reason you want to finish them to see what happens? And meanwhile you are thinking to yourself that you aren't very wise with your time? But you keep watching anyways? It's like that, but stretched into like a 9 hour season.

I'm a long time horror fan who loved the movies so I was excited that it was turned into a tv series. I'm no prude and expected sex and violence and swearing. But I did not expect it to be so vulgar. No I'm not referencing the swearing and drug use or the self harm. I'm not offended by the gruesome murders.. They dialogue is cringe worthy and not in a good way. It does not add to the story, it is unnecessarily crude and vulgar. I don't know anyone who speaks this way in real life. It seems forced. It was also predictable from episode one as soon as you see twins, where the plot is headed.

I don't understand how this show has such a low rating, I thought the acting was great, especially the main character who played two different people. I loved the storyline and the twists, I really hope this gets a season 2
