I thought its gonna be crappy as the "continuations" of popular shows usually are but somehow its good. Its visible that the show grown up from original Icarly, there are still jokes but in adult maner. I thought new cast not going to take the weight of the show but they keep ok. Only one thing that I dont like is that Freddies daughter idea... it doesnt really make sense for him to still have the child and still that character doesnt really fit to the show. Id see her more in original series than this ones. I get the feeling it kinda reflects of Cosgroves role as Megan in Drake and Josh but that wont be replaced. Im not very pleased to see her on screen. Shes not needed for the story, shes just a filler and not even funny one. I miss gibby, he would be better off there. Im talking about the characters not the actuall actors of course. Overall tho its fine. Chill and easy to watch

Being an adult and forgetting childhood is all it offers us "ICarly", And it represents it in a great way, maybe part of the Original spark is missing but this show in the end will end in a random dance

The acting was poor, the jokes weren't funny and they didn't really go into much detail of everyone who's been in their lives from the time they were kids. What happened to Lewbert? Where is Freddie's mom? Who did he end up marrying for love and who's the kids mom he adopted her from? It briefly explained a terrible sculpture out of marshmallows that Spencer did of the White House and that's how he earned his money but that doesn't make sense at the same time because he was never considered as a good artist in the art world. Why does the loft look so different now? Grant it, it's been many years since they live there but there's so many details that have changed about it. It in my opinion could have gone so many ways better but I guess they just didn't have the budget to accommodate better acting.

The iCarly reboot is simply Not Funny, in fact, it's pretty bad! The show is one-dimensional and lacks depth and heart (both of which are key in the best, relatable and enduring comedies). There is a reason why the original is still very funny and has a wide, diverse appeal. One of the problems off the bat with the reboot is the (replacement) BFF roommate character, Harper was a terrible idea! Her side story is an obvious, superficial and feckless effort to expand the iCarly audience politically - BIG MISTAKE! There is nothing interesting, compelling, funny, or appealing about that character, which does not add to the show but rather upstages the relationships originally established by the core characters. In fact, there is absolutely NO chemistry between her and Carly, nor anyone else for that matter. As opposite as Carly and Sam were, there was an unmistakable chemistry between them from day one! The new iCarly might have potential if they get rid of Harper, revamp the negative attitude of Millicent (which serves no purpose - Freddie's life is pitiful enough), and focus on the established, complicated relationships between the Main original iCarly characters (which is WHY people who still love the original iCarly even watch and WHAT will draw in new viewers). They need to bring back some of the original writers (without Schneider) who know and have had proven success with these characters (like Jake Farrow). The best way to establish broad appeal is to build on what was appealing about the show in the first place, mainly the relationships between the original characters. Then sky is the limit! "If you build it, they will come."

Revisiting a dumb show made for kids 10 years down the line and examining the ramifications of the media projected at Generation Z as they came of age is a premise for a show that could write itself. This was the opportunity iCarly had. They opted instead for Two And A Half Men But With Computers. This is the kind of cheap, hackneyed, network TV multi-camera sitcom formula that we rightfully abandoned about a decade ago. The cast does the best they can with the material, and there is occasionally a funny joke carried by their performances. The show needs to be edgier. I'm not talking about the fact that the characters drink or Carly said "bitch" one time. Deal with deeper issues of identity, fame, the parasocial life of a content creator. Do something with it, the show deserves it.

Awesome new perspective of the characters and show as they grew up over the years. This show is made for the adult audience who grew up watching the original iCarly as kids! Some of the adult things happen in here.... 1. Spencer showing part of his butt 2. Little bit of alcohol drinking as a way of celebration 3. Some cussing, but not in every sentence, which is good 4. The new version is definitely not made for the new young kid audience
