Feb 5, 2019 | Full Review… Alan Sepinwall Newark Star-Ledger Top Critic In Plain Sight could double as a handy guide to cop-drama mediocrity. Jun 1, 2008 | Full Review… Matthew Gilbert Boston Globe Top Critic Mary doesn't win 'em all, but "In Plain Sight" is a W for USA. Jun 1, 2008 | Full Review… David Hinckley New York Daily News Top Critic A pilot episode can only do so much, and even with these problems, the bones of a solid show are there. Mary McCormack is a strong lead actress and the supporting cast has potential. Feb 5, 2019 | Rating: 7/10 | Full Review… Jonah Krakow IGN Movies with its unique take on girl power, In Plain Sight is likely to find an audience. After all, there aren't many other shows about a take-charge kind of woman who eschews power pumps for a gun and a sensible pair of shoes. Feb 5, 2019 | Rating: 3/5 | Full Review… Kari Croop Common Sense Media With this shaded tone and careful plotting going for it, In Plain Sight is a welcome addition to USA's line-up of detective shows. Jun 1, 2008 | Rating: 6/10 | Full Review… Michael Abernethy PopMatters This opportunity for lighter moments, coupled with the complicated nature of Mary's character, makes "In Plain Sight" a little less vanilla. Jun 1, 2008 | Full Review… Rob Owen Pittsburgh Post-Gazette It's all a bit ridiculous and the writing is scary, although the stars are first rate and the locales are pretty good too. Feb 5, 2019 | Full Review… Linda Stasi New York Post Top Critic Part of the problem is pilot-itis - trying to introduce the entire cast and give them something to do and say, thus resulting in a jumble of mostly unconnected actions and emotions. Nov 9, 2018 | Rating: 2/4 | Full Review… Tim Goodman San Francisco Chronicle Top Critic So far, I like it a lot. Whether this is enough to get In Plain Sight through the summer is uncertain.
