Tulip Owens is a 13-year-old girl who aspires to become a computer game programmer but finds herself trapped on a train one day and is looking for a way out. She meets a robot called One-One, which consists of two spherical robots containing contrasting personalities that can combine into the shape of a basketball. Together they search the train, meeting a cast of strange characters along the way and hoping to find clues that will help Tulip find her way home.

Kevin P 01/22/2025 God damn, this is such a masterpiece. Every scene is full of such wonderful artistry, imaginative set pieces, and an ever-engaging narrative that’s always pressing forward and keeping you on your toes. There’s plenty of lighthearted humor sprinkled in, but my god does this season hit you hard with one emotional gut punch after another. Each episode builds up from the previous and goes to some pretty dark places, but it never goes too far or ever feels like it’s merely done for shock value. It’s a great reflection on the ethics of the infinity train and nulls. It’s fascinating to watch how each character views nulls and the train, and more importantly how their views correlate or clash with each other. For a “children’s cartoon”, the characters are all full of such depth and raw humanity and easily go through the most change out of any of the show’s protagonists so far. Even though I was spoiled by some of Book 3’s dark and emotional moments, they still shocked me and hit me in the feels to see HOW and WHY the characters got to those moments. It stuck with me so well and my God am I hooked. I am eager to see how this show will be resolved. But unfortunately, I may have to wait a while, as the show has been temporarily cancelled after Book 4 premiered. It’s a damn shame that such an amazing show is being cast aside like this, especially when the creators clearly have plans for 4 more Books. But hopefully with enough time and patience, we can eventually get our well-deserved closure with this amazing series with the aloof Book 5. In the meantime, I am looking forward to watching Book 4 and reflecting on how damn good of a show this series is. See more Ed @ethan925 07/10/2023 As always, incredible look at morality and what is a person (like s2). This season focuses on redemption of the Apex, which I thought was an interesting angle to take. The twist actually got me good, and recontextualizes the whole adventure. I'm happy we got to see Amelia again, she's always interesting. As always, this season doesn't shy away from heavy topics like death and it actually made me sad too. I also like how the episodes are short and to the point, so I don't have to dedicate a whole day to watching it or feel like there's unnecessary content. The only reason this lost half a star is because the main antagonist is incredibly unreasonable. Like, I understand some people aren't willing to change, but he really just went the extra mile, so much so that he surpassed serial-killer level mania . See more TimeFlies A 01/28/2023 Simon is a psycho, completely messed up in his head. I don't get why everyone loves him. I did love that we saw Amelia again and the other characters, except Simon, were also quite interesting. Also Grace's character development was nice. See more 04/22/2022 Predictable but good! Was so sad with what happened to a few of the characters, but overall one of the best shows I've watched!
