Joel seems nice but he's no Dave. Having no new artists brought no new creativity. Production was cheesy and seemed planned but with nothing interesting. Just bad, so bad! Ryan was never going to let Gian win neither were the peers. Ryan didn't want the world to see that Gian had beat her before and was a true ink master and the peers did not like him all season. DJ is a great artist but don't make this shit as bias as they made it. See more Jan V 09/10/2022 Should be called Ink Master: Cancelled, since the best part of the show has been forcefully replaced: the judges. The new judges are boring with less charisma (just fake tough fronts) and make the show mostly interested to inkheads instead of people like me who just want to see a good tournament show. Also, these are the best runners up from the former seasons? I think not. Season 2 post-it challenge is wasteful, shameful for a woke show. See more stoner j @Stoner 09/08/2022 They changed a lot in this newly produced reboot of Ink Master, and it's not for the better. Unfortunately this MTV produced version is very cheap and washed out. The original was very much high quality HD and greatly produced, now it's much cheaper… it's much shorter than the original, less people so much less drama and less artwork to look at. And, the new judges COMPLETELY FLAT, zero emotion or energy and can't judge as well as Nunez, Peck AND Navarro. I'm bummed out but at the same time, they did keep the flash challenges and elimination tattoo sections, which is why I've rated this 4 stars. It is still entertaining despite all the shortcomings and I will continue to watch it. They'd better have an extravagant LIVE finale though like the last 10 years of Ink Master.
