I never doubted for a second that the last episode of Inside No 9 (sob) would be brilliant. But I didn’t expect it to be quite that brilliant. Go to Full Review

Not a top-tier Inside No 9 episode, but a neat scenario and a welcome opportunity to see some of our best character actors having fun. Go to Full Review

It’s all a bit silly, obviously, and to be honest, not up there with the very best efforts by the Inside No 9 team, but it’s a nice satire on our contemporary taste for conspiracy theories and paranoia. Go to Full Review

Inside No. 9 is a hoot – satirical, dark and disturbing and yet hilarious, sinister, and oh so human. The series piece de resistance, the show’s final episode, pits the creators against once another! Go to Full Review

There are no duds to be found across the climactic six episodes and despite the starry support it’s Shearsmith and Pemberton’s work that stands out the most. Go to Full Review

Brian H @RT21922997 06/07/2024 Used to look forward to a new series of inside no 9 , but I can see why they have decided to call it a day after this series. Previously there were really cleverly thought out dark and genuinely inventive plots with twists that work within the story. This series plots seem underdeveloped and some just don't make sense in the story's own logic. Most of the current series I watch and when it finishes I say to myself "Oh, was that it?" . I'm only watching out a sense of completion now. It is also increasingly evident in this series that the team really don't like ordinary people very much. I know the series deals in the exaggerated and grotesque but instead of a twisted reality, lower middle and working class people are nearly always portrayed as either snobs ,evil, stupid or a combination of all three. It's as though ordinary people are just there to be sneered at. Occasionally though, they are patronised instead. See more Read all reviews
