They make the show quite fun to watch The fact that they tried to do in 12 hours seems a little hard lol, but I can see the appeal. Of course, there are dramatized aspects to it and certain speed-ups, it's a freaking TV show, NOT a documentary! They don't have to have an absolutely accurate rendition of reality. The designs were BEAUTIFUL, the ideas genuinely creative, and they're doing this for people who could use the help. All of the cast are great and really add genuine personality. While the "uh oh" moments are predictable and formulaic, the rest of the premise overcomes it. I kind of like the look backs to the planning and testing stages, though, it seems highly unrealistic and expensive. I do agree with other reviews regarding the host, but if she just toned it down a bit and had a bit more functional purpose, then she would be great. I do hope they do more seasons.
