In the year 2022, the vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac lives in Dubai and seeks to tell the story of his life or afterlife to renowned journalist Daniel Molloy. Beginning in early 20th-century New Orleans, Louis' story follows his relationship with the vampire Lestat du Lioncourt and their formed family, including teen fledgling Claudia. Together, the vampire family endures immortality in New Orleans and beyond. As the interview continues in Dubai, Molloy discovers the truths beneath Louis' story.

IWTV is the best TV show since The Americans, although markedly different. Episode 5 is the best hour of TV that I have ever seen and I have watched it more times that I can count and can quote much of the episode, "the fight" an obvious part, with it’s overlapping, lyrical dialogue. The great thing about these Anne Rice adaptations is that nothing can take from this and the first season and we can go back to them as much as we like. :)

Season 2 takes everything great about season 1 and elevates it. The storytelling is bold, the performances are outstanding, and the emotional depth is devastating. Our cast is settling into their roles with undeniable deliveries. Beautiful, haunting, and impossible to stop watching.

It's very good. Do not expect a faithful telling of the story, and some didn't like the casting choices, I personally don't have a problem with them. Well told, well acted and directed.

Great handling of the twist, stellar acting from Jacob Anderson and Delainey Hayles, who really surprised me, I didn't think I would love her as Claudia as much as I did! Assad Zaman was also a great villian; really got chills.
