Sin embargo, no termina de superar ese cierto provincianismo y cursilería que caracteriza a las producciones españolas con personajes y diálogos de dudoso gusto. A married wwomanrunning for mayor trys to play the victim card after getting caught on video living a double life and screwing another man. Embarrasing her family in the process and putting her career in turmoil. Aside from the poor performance of the cast and the snail pace, the show just sucks all around. The messaging is is also quite poor and backwards. The main character mayor lady saids at one point "everybody is either living a double life or dreams about living one themselves" then proceeds to double down and go around screwing more dudes via a dating app. That's great and all. If she didn't have a 15 year old daughter who's life is has been flipped upside down. She doesn't spend one minute consoling her and seeing how she is doing. She is just simply dgaf and the show trys to show it in a positive light. I've had to divorce my first wife and have maintained a great + honest relationship with my kids since. I think this show/film or whatever is shortsighted and ignores many important factors regarding honor, family and personal responsibility. So not only is it a very slow a boring show but the story trys to promote woman empowerment in a very ass backwards/short sighted way. "Go around, screw men and f my family! Ima do me and run for mayor on top of it, AND I'm tha victim!" Forget that you have children at home, go out and get your club on!
