Invasion Season 1 creates a masterclass of sci-fi terror that’s akin to the likes of the Alien franchise. The story drags you deep into caring about the characters while tormenting you as they try to survive the dangers of an alien invasion.

I really wanted to enjoy but too much of a struggle. As other have said, painfully slow. Character building is one thing but three times longer than necessary & still don't care about them, in fact, apart from the Soldier wish they would all die quickly. Even Shamier was begining to get on my nerves. Thought some of the sets & atmosphere was good from time to time. If I have to watch another minute of Shiori close ups & staring i'm likely to smash the TV, good job in a crisis their top tech can wander off and mope around in bed. Not sure why but I really don't like Golshifteh character & her kids & we are meant to feel for her. All the kids are so annoying, Do quite like the boy to a degree but again 1 hour of seizures in what seems like slow motion is so tedious, Spolier alert .. Shame Sam Niell could have been used more & last longer.

I have been really enjoying the show. Its as much a mystery as if is a series on humanity or aliens. I have to force myself to put my ipad down and get some sleep.

Nice Series, worth the watch. May not start off as fast but definitely worth a watch. Very interesting.

Why is everything so f#$king dark? It's not building tension, it's just making it hard to see what's going on. And those kids, they couldn't be more annoying. Script is meh, add to it characters I couldn't care less about.

Poorly written plot, sluggish pacing, horrible acting. A drama series should have been created instead of this. The alien invasion doesn't play any significant part. Doesn't even take place. Main characters are unlikeable, some outright annoying. Mid episode three, I was already rooting for the aliens or at least a giant asteroid.
