Clarisse Loughrey Flicks (AU, NZ, UK) Apr 3
In season three, now that we’re a little desensitised to its shock violence (though plenty of heads get torn off and pulverised here, don’t worry), Kirkman and his team have instead turned their focus to the consequences of power. Go to Full Review

While Season 3 doesn't offer the same levels of gruesomeness, it exchanges the violence for a deeper look into Mark's life as a young man and superhero. Go to Full Review

Invincible is proof that superhero stories can still be exciting as long as interesting characters, passion, creativity, and real stakes are at the forefront. Go to Full Review

With powerful themes that don’t fully cohere, Invincible’s third season makes for a fun and interesting, but not always satisfying, watch. Go to Full Review

I feel more chemistry and spark between Mark and Eve than I do many live-action potential couples. Go to Full Review

Bryan A. @Timmaryturner 3d Invincible is an adult animated superhero series on Amazon Prime Video, based on the Image Comics by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley, about teenager Mark Grayson who develops powers and discovers his superhero father, Omni-Man, has a dark legacy. The show is known for its mature themes, character development, and consequential storytelling, with Season 1 premiering in March 2021, Season 2 in March 2024, and Season 3 in February 2025. Premise: Mark Grayson (Invincible) navigates his new powers while dealing with the shocking truth about his father, Omni-Man, and the world of superheroes. Creators: Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker, and Ryan Ottley. Main Cast: Steven Yeun (Mark Grayson), J.K. Simmons (Omni-Man). Platform: Amazon Prime Video. Key Feature: Unlike many superhero shows, events have lasting consequences, and plots are resolved rather than reset each episode. Relationship dynamics feel forced. Logic is sacrificed for pacing, and the loss of Damien Darkblood—the only grounded character—soured the show’s integrity. Now, it feels like it is written by children who ignore their own rules. The Angstrom arc is pointless. He is an ordinary man; why didn’t Mark use his super speed to end the fight instantly? His turn was predictable, and his grudge against Mark lacks logical foundation. Similarly, the power scaling is broken. Conquest, a supposed greater force than Annissa, is reduced to a chatterbox and easily defeated. The "Alien X" transformation for Eve is the final straw. Claiming she was given powers with constraints in the womb is lazy, inconsistent and contradicts established lore. As an artist, I cannot stomach this negligence. The show truly deserves a CW-Live action series. The world has forgotten what true entertainment feels like. The effort is visible, but the execution is so void of reality it is unwatchable.
