At just six episodes, this is a small-scale Marvel venture, leaning towards an adolescent audience, that’s not tied to previous stories but does possess a fair measure of galvanising energy. Go to Full Review

Ironheart fares better with the human element of the story. Though perhaps human isn’t the right word, given that the series’ most rewarding scenes revolve around Riri’s slightly uncanny friendship with Natalie... Go to Full Review

A likeable series with a cracking lead. It may not rock your world, but you also won’t regret time spent in Riri Williams’ company. Go to Full Review

Ironheart overall feels a little bit underwhelming. Putting everything together, I enjoyed the buildup, the lead, and I loved exploring more of Riri's character, But towards the end the narrative structure fell short and failed to grab me. Go to Full Review

Ironheart has some interesting ideas and themes, and a killer soundtrack, but in the end, it’s another mediocre Marvel. Go to Full Review

Gloria C @RT03411104 13 hrs ago Loved it saw it on a flight, was the first time I heard about the series and got hooked, got disney just to watch it. Sad there's no future seasons! bring it back! Characters had good chemistry, touched on various themes, layered..5 stars easy.. See more Thomas W @RT35002424 1 day ago What the F*** shi*** ga*** Are you serious Marvel ? I can’t f*** s*** that sh*** I wish the producers go to F*** he*** See more Yo M @Seizy 4 days ago I literally don't understand what this show is trying to tell me. It feels like an accidental parody on "woke propaganda". There is not a single relatable character in the show, the protagonist is presented as a "genius" but does nothing to prove that. All she does is crying about how she doesn't have enough funds, even though she has a sponsored scholarship at a high stakes university. In the first episode, about half the sentences out of her mouth share the same meaning of "If I had Tony Stark's money, I could make a better suit". May I remind you that "Tony stark did it! In a cave! With a bunch of scrap!" She is literally insufferable and keeps making immoral decisions, like stealing equipment from her university, joining a group of criminals, letting people die. I don't know how a character commiting crimes. not even to help people, but to enrich herself and becoming famous, is supposed to be a role-model or hero. Protagonists like this make people dislike the left-wing standpoint. See more Yogev K @RT86858384 6 days ago Trying to hard to educate the audience, everything about this show is pretty expected, no surprises, no creative writing. You can do better Marvel, stop creating terrible shows like this See more Josh M @FishingHawk Aug 22, 2026 Ironheart feels like another example of Marvel prioritizing messaging and franchise expansion over telling a genuinely compelling story. The writing is uneven, the characters are difficult to connect with, and the humor often feels forced rather than natural. Riri Williams has the potential to be a great Marvel character, but the series doesn't give her a particularly engaging story. The pacing drags, the conflicts don't carry much weight, and too much of the show feels like it exists to set up the next thing rather than stand confidently on its own. The biggest problem is that I simply wasn't invested. Marvel used to make me care about what happened to its characters. Ironheart rarely gave me that feeling. Not the worst thing Marvel has produced (cough — She Hulk), but definitely nowhere near the level of the MCU at its best. See more Read all reviews
