I would watch for them alone! This show has the potential to be the next Parenthood if they continue to capture the tenderness that makes real life so sweet. But I genuinely hope Malcom and Lori don’t end up together. I don’t think they’re a good match, and Lori’s character has little personality outside of constantly working in some capacity (her career, volunteering, caring for her kids) and being indecisive. Her world seems so small compared to Malcom’s. But again, I would watch just for his storyline and am okay if that’s the focus, just not with her as his love interest. Wish the writers hadn’t shut down the storyline with Malcom and Grace. Anyway, like Parenthood, I would love if the next step for this show is to flesh out the extended families -while Lori and David continue to heal and work on themselves.
