Julia is not earth shattering but is really fun to watch. Julia Childs did make changes happen in the broadcast industry and while that accomplishment is addressed, its importance could have been more robust. Julia Childs was a personality and a game changer so I am glad to see her legacy not be forgotten.

Sublime. It really is a wonderful show on every level. The cast is exceptional and we have enjoyed the onscreen reunion of 'Frasier' alum David Hyde Pierce and Bebe Neuwirth together again. Sarah Lancashire as Julia probably bests even the great Meryl Streep in the movie Julie and Julia.

I really enjoyed this show. I somehow missed it until recently and I'm very excited about a second season.

Fabulous series. Heartfelt and absorbing. This is a credit to all those involved.

      • Jun 04, 2022

        Heartwarming, fun, and thought provoking!

Thoroughly enjoyed this. Makes me want to see the actual episodes of The French Chef. Especially that pilot. Another enjoyable aspect is that much information is given about the people in her life and what they were going through. Not just husband, but friends, editor, producers. Their stories were interesting too. Loved the episode on baking the French baguettes. Horror - the asbestos brick!
