Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous: Season 3 Reviews

season 3 lifts me up again bc i think season 2 is not just as interesting and intense as eason 1 and 3. but one thing i get really tired of is that they keep getting out of the park and then getting in the park over and over again. finally they left that crazy world and i'm so looking forward to what will happen on season 4.

Without a doubt season of camp cretaceous 3 is the best one. You get used to jungle boy ben and the characters are finally going to get off this island. They go through various adventures and at the end sabotage wu's plan and get the hell of that island. They learn to like each other and become friends and they had really good character development and actually feel human unlike most other characters in the jurassic park franchise.

I'm definitely the odd one out here based on the numerous review i've seen. First thing first, I am a huge Jurassic Park/World fan since the first Jurassic Park movie released back in 93. I was really looking forward to seeing Camp Cre season 1 when the news was released but was extremely disappointed with it and is still disappointed by the end of season 3. Yes I've endured through all 3 seasons just simply because i am a fan of the Jurassic Park franchise. Let me start with what's good with Camp Cre season 3. I really love how there were more focus on what Blue was doing on Isla Nublar and how the show connected Jurassic World and Fallen Kingdom. The easter eggs that appeared in the show were amazing especially when they revisited those Jurassic Park locations. As for the bad parts............. Keep in mind that my criticism is due to the need to be consistent with what happened throughout the entire Jurassic Park franchise. The characters Till this day with the exception of Yaz and Brooklyyn, the rest of the characters are sooooo unlikeable. Darius, being the main character of the film kept making stupid decision after another, decisions that would've cost the lives of anyone in the show and Darius is "spared" from that simply because he is the main character (hence immortal). Kenji is a helpless spoiled brat, Sam is another helpless and overly optimistic kid (keep in mind she's already on the island for 6 months) and Ben the jungle boy who wanted to remain on the island because of a dinosaur and think he can survive out in the wild with the T-Rex, Raptors and other carnivores. So many more to say about the characters........ The characters are immune to the dinosaurs This has been an issue since season 1. In fact, the kids seemed to realise that they are immortal as evident by the fact of the dumb decision they made during the 6 months on the island. Rather than trying to escape the island as first priority, the kids are always distracted by extremely senseless reasoning (for e.g., the need to kill the scorpio rex to prevent them from hurting the other dinosaurs on the island). Noticed this is NOT consistent with normal human's thinking and even in the Jurassic franchise. In the movie Jurassic Park, the moment Dr Grant knew that the island is not safe, he immediately tried to find ways to leave knowing that their lives could be in danger anytime on the island. Likewise Owen in Jurassic World, his first priority was to get the tourists off the island and deploy MERCENARIES to kill the Indominus rex. He was later persuaded to use his raptors to kill the Indominus and once the plan was off, his main priority is to find ways to get off the island immediately. It's not like both Dr Grant and Owen don't care about dinosaurs, rather they know that there are only so much they can do, without costing them their lives or those around them. Back to Camp Cre 3, the adults that got to the island were eaten just hours on the island while the kids survived 6 months, outran and outsmart T-Rex, Toro, Scorpio, etc. Where's the consistency? No one came for the kids The end of season is presumably at the end of Jurassic World where all the tourists had left the island leaving the dinosaurs freely roaming around. It only took a few hours from the states to Isla Nublar by ferry. Hence isn't it laughable that Roxie and Dave didn't get anyone to go to the island to rescue the kids all these while? For the entire 6 months, really?? In Jurassic Park 3, Eric's parents took 8 weeks to finally gather the resources, Dr Grant, etc. It took them that long because they weren't rich and the island was out of bounds and hence couldn't get authorities to rescue Eric. Even then, Dr Grant assumed that Eric wouldn't have make it. Also in JP3, noticed how quick the army come to rescue Dr Grant and the rest just hours after a rescue call to Ellie? U mean the government couldn't at least send some helicopters or search party to look for these kids throughout the 6 months. How about the kids parents? Kenji was from a very wealthy family and his dad could have easily get the rescue team to look for him. Yaz is an athlete for the country and isn't it important for the country to find her? Bumpy the Ankylosaurus Apparently, Ben and Bumpy had a special bond that beat even Owen and Blue. Even though Owen raised Blue, you noticed that he will still be very careful not to be careless around her. Blue may be a "harmless" herbivore as compared to Blue, but Bumpy doesn't have the intelligence or capability to bond with human like Blue (as mentioned in Fallen Kingdom that Blue is the smartest of all, high IQ and EQ). Throughout the series, Bumpy seemed to be able to listen and obey Ben like a well-trained dog or even better. Able to help "defeat" Toro and ward off the carnivores. It makes completely no sense for Bumpy to exhibit such high intelligence. If your argument is that Ben already bonded with Bumpy since she was a baby, there would already be a bunch of adults in Jurassic World training herbivores dinosaurs, which we didn't see any of it throughout the franchise. Overall, all 3 seasons are really bad IMO but the irony is that i will still watch season 4. I just hoped that there will be a change this time. Up to this point, everything is so cliche. The kids running away from dinos knowing the no one will truly die, since none of the dinos will eat them because they are immortal. The kids will continue to be sidetrack by meaningless issue rather than finding the fastest way to escape. 1 star it shall be.
