Whether this is the show to really push that reputation now or something that people catch up with long down the road, viewers are likely to be satisfied when they do. Go to Full Review

It's simply an opportunity to watch some gifted actors do what they do, very well, with a story that glides along in entertaining but unoriginal manner. Go to Full Review

An unexpected slow burn, this is brutal and full of tension – an immersive watch. Go to Full Review

Kin succeeds because of the way it knits character and action together so seamlessly within its carefully drawn and defined locations. Go to Full Review

The hope must be that this is merely a wobble - and that part eight delivers on the potential the show has demonstrated through the season. Go to Full Review

Kin is not a slick, expensive production - it won't be confused for a Scorsese flick - but it features a number of powerful performances... that make it much better than the sum of its parts. Go to Full Review

Aggie H @AggieH 4d This film is hard-hitting and realistic, It’s built on really strong characters driving a great story, and the pacing is perfect—it honestly never slows down. The whole cast gives totally convincing, professional performances that pull you right in. Plus, the crew absolutely nailed it behind the camera, making the whole thing look and feel just as good as the acting. See more James S. @jampot61 Dec 19 Tense, riveting drama. Strong performances. Highly recommend. See more Julian B Oct 3 Okay but not outstanding. V slow, the blokes all looked similar and couldn't speak in a normal voice. That is, the silly whispering got a bit tedious. Plot full of holes, but that is expected in these type of tv series. However, biggest disappointment was the ending. In about 3 minutes the bad guys killed the ladder guys, and then that was it. No real closure so hopefully S2 will tell us more. See more Yvette W Sep 14 well acted but this lot are a bunch of c u next tuesdays - checking out after episode 3 See more Ann Marie A Jun 10 Excellent show..so why the 3 stars? It was missing the dark humour that is so quintessentially irish. It was dark, gritty but that factor just wasn't there. As a nation we find humour in the darkest of times. Would have been 5 if they had incorporated true Irish characteristics. See more Alan B 12/18/2024 Yeah...roll on season 3...hard hitting , realistic, strong characters all through this..powerful story telling that dipicts the hard inner belly of Ireland's gangsters...never slows down or loses interest..if you like this you will love Love/Hate..Great stuff..Highly recomended See more Read all reviews
