Critic Reviews for Kingdom Season 2

All Critics (6) | Top Critics (2)

Kingdom wraps its strongest season to date. I don't know how this show does it, but in its continued exploration of these characters, their demons, and their relationships, it only gets better.

Dec 7, 2018 | Full Review…

[Byron] Belasco does a superb job of creating credible, compelling characters for his talented cast to run with.

Dec 4, 2017 | Rating: 3/4 | Full Review…

Balasco used his show about fighting to inform the masses about important aspects of our society that need fixing.

... we're in for something thrilling from this new character. It's a shame that it will probably take us another year (or longer) before we get to find out what the show's creators have in store for us.

Mar 20, 2020 | Full Review…

With four hours of new series I'm trying to watch already taking up space on my DVR, odds are I'll let "Kingdom" pass me by.

Oct 14, 2015 | Full Review…

Thanks to stunt coordinator Keith Campbell, Kingdom's fight choreography continues to thrill. The drama, already renewed for a third season, has an ear for honest humor, the way people bust on each other.

The best show on Netflix and if I'd discovered it earlier, I would have said it was the best show on tv when it was airing. It definitely did not get the attention it deserves, but hopefully it will now that it is available on Netflix. The actors give outstanding performances and Johnathan Tucker deserves every award available for his portrayal of Jay Kulina. And Nick Jonas.. Who knew? He turned in an amazing performance as silent yet stoic Nate Kulina. Frank Grillo is unbelievably talented and Keile Sanchez is so believable throughout every setback her character encountered. Matt Lauria kept it consistent from the amazing Friday Night Lights to this even better (somehow) show. Every show will from now on have to compete with Kingdom as the best series
