Something each of Kizazi Moto’s shorts has in common is an unmistakable commitment to truly centering a variety of African cultures without feeling the need to bend over backward in to make themselves “relatable” in Hollywood’s typical sense of the word. Go to Full Review

Adam M @The_Manwaring 03/01/2024 Half of these episodes are almost unwatchable. Jerky animation, captions fall off halfway through, half-baked lessons/messages. It had us asking “How long until this is over?” which is amazing considering the 10-11 minute long episode runtimes. See more Stephen S @RT23001229 11/09/2023 this show is awful and nasty dont let your kids watch this if you actually care about them See more Spencer P @s_plewe 09/07/2023 From the beautiful to the bizarre, Kizazi Moto is an original anthology with plenty of fresh sci-fi short stories from a generally unknown sector of the animation world. See more Matthew L @RT02344944 07/11/2023 Ok....... 1) #Disney, give these artists as many seasons as you can. This is an amount of passion in the animation I don't get to see that often. I can feel the artists giving their all to make each of these shorts gorgeous. 2) And that goes for their passionate story telling. Support that love and need to have a voice. This series feels WONDERFULLY uncalculated compared to a LOT of very calculated Disney/Marvel shows not allowed to have flaws....................................... BUT......... flaws it does have. 3) And in those flaws is a feeling of homogenous Joseph Cambel coming of age stories. A whole lot of Luke Skywalkers all discovering their magic as a metaphor for growing up. Plus.....very similar color schemes. Giant amounts of orange with neon blue and vermilion lights. Part of what Futurism should be is an exploration of possibilities. Tell man vs nature, man vs man, man vs self, the tireless inventor, the brave racecar driver, the clergy boy learning to be a priest, the old veteran on one last battlefeild, the monster trying to be human, the monster PRETENDING to be human, the clash of alien cultures, the slapstick comedy, the comedy of errors and wordplay, or whatever to break up the Luke Skywalker parade. But then again.....if anybody loves these shorts, then the shorts did their job. Better to be loved by a handful than accept by a critic. But still, #disney, there is plenty of african history, folklore, film history, and paleontology to draw from https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLlCUpv19jwSvqdprreQtGxIyxSgZIbZhF See more diogo13 @RT52799727 07/08/2023 Kizazi Moto: Generation Fire mostra visões da África que são totalmente novas, com histórias relativamente diretas, mas eficazes. See more Raymond M @RT93402807 07/06/2023 Overall the series is great and worth watching. Loved the different art styles and the music in general was great. I laughed hardest on Herderboy and Hatima had me so much in my feels I felt uncomfortable..........in a good way ofcourse. However, some episodes do have lacklustre pacing making the endings feel rushed. I most definitely recommend everyone watches this, it has a different perspective on storytelling than what we are used to. See more Read all reviews
