A massive sinkhole opens up in the middle of Los Angeles, separating a family between two worlds. The mother and son fall into an unexplainable primeval land alongside a group of strangers trying to figure out where they are, and how to get back home. Left above is a daughter, who barely manages to survive the disaster, and the father, whose troubled past and hallucinations make him an unlikely choice to help solve the mystery -- and reunite the family. But when he realizes his visions might just be the key to finding their loved ones, time will be the only thing that stands in their way.

This primeval fantasy desperately wants to be another 'Lost' but becomes just too weird as the inexplicable, soap-opera-like absurdities mount. Despite Los Angeles' intimidating, real-life La Brea Tar Pits paleontology site, it's far-fetched sci-fi. Go to Full Review

I guess they thought that viewers would be completely satiated by two woolly rhinos rendered with cheap CGI fighting one another. They were wrong. Where’s the stupid? If you can’t be interesting, at least be dumb! Go to Full Review

Adam K @AdamK007 May 23 I liked the concepts but continued the same troupes over and over. I liked the main storyline but was getting tired of the "i need to save this person. I now found this person . Now they are lost again." See more Alexis L. @Pinkting May 17 Honestly thank you for so many episodes each one more thrilling than the next… I was on the edge of my seat wanting to know what happened next!Honestly there were plot holes and I filled them myself (haha). The plot twists kept coming and had me constantly thinking wtf… like how did the the giant skyscraper get there like I’m assuming they zapped it through a portal?! But how did they secure the foundations of that building ? Like I can’t imagine a construction crew drilling deep into the earth to stabilize this skyscraper…. Also why did only dinosaurs come through the portals if like hundreds of portals opened to 10,000 BC and just a plethora of dinosaurs and one mattress …Like nothing else?would have been fun for the plot. I enjoyed the ending but I really thought Eve would of flew to 2070 like I wish we got to see the “future” like we see in the tower this slice of futuristic living I wish we could of seen 2070 from this point of view. Like why did we keep going back to the 60’s 80s See more Golfin_ I. @RT40628441 May 7 Unbelievably, season two is even worse than season one. Characters very often have choices to make and unfailingly they always make the wrong choice – so predictable. So why am I watching it? Well, I have a crochet project that I’m working on and bad television doesn’t interfere with my counting stitches; besides if I miss some of the action, it really doesn’t matter. What the hell… I forgot to mention that the music choices are also overly melodramatic and manipulative. See more Ben B @RT03051504 Oct 2 The basic story is interesting, yes, and it could have been turned into something, but unfortunately everyone involved was high on some kind of illegal substance. The whole thing is so illogical and stupidly written, and even more stupidly filmed. See more Landon M @Lan777 04/09/2024 Season 2 picks up where Season 1 left off. Yes, everyone is still well groomed, but I'm just going to roll with it. The story is better, and the characters definitely are growing on me. Annoying characters are less annoying, and the plot twist with time travel has pulled me in. Can't wait to see what happens next! See more Jennifer H @RT33033350 01/18/2024 We enjoy watching the series. Wish there'd be more seasons. See more Read all reviews
