Critic Reviews for Late Night With Jimmy Fallon Season 5

Jimmy Fallon was emotional as he said goodbye to the 12:35 time slot, but also marked the occasion with his show's signature mix of music and laughs.

Despite Andy Samberg's presence as Fallon's last guest and the dynamic host's book-ended musical performances, the most memorable moments from Fallon's Late Night exit were the ones that were the most reflective.

Jimmy Fallon had The Muppets on for his final appearance on Late Night and I'd say it was a near perfect transition across the hall to The Tonight Show.

Jimmy Fallon always comes across as a genuinely nice guy. But given how endearingly rattled he was in his final Late Night show, it makes me even more curious to see how he handles things a week from Monday.

[Jimmy] Fallon navigated the week with a sense of decency that was both unapologetic and generous.

Fallon turns 40 this fall but still has the coltish enthusiasm of his Saturday Night Live heyday 15 years ago, and it's what powered five seasons of Late Night.

Audience Reviews for Late Night With Jimmy Fallon: Season 5

He is like an SNL frat boy. He is not old enough to know that SNl was actually funny from 1975- 77 and not since. If there is a guest you really want to see, "tape" it on your DVR. If you keep your finger on the fast forward and mute, you might survive Jimmy's stupidity. It is better to skip the show and see the guest on Seth Myers. I hate this show
