Critic Reviews for Late Night With Seth Meyers Season 4

All Critics (5) | Top Critics (2)

The "Late Night" team is showing the value of well-crafted comedy, not merely relying on star power and spontaneity to produce something shareable. It's must-watch work, and they're cranking it out faster than anyone else in the business.

It's a rat-a-tat of setups and punchlines. It's also the most efficient joke delivery machine in all of late night.

"Check In" segments could provide an opportunity to flex a slightly different muscle-resulting in work that resembles that of his cable counterparts but that combines his own comic sensibility with his status as one of late-night's sharpest satirists.

Late Night with Seth Meyers has become one of the best places for analysis of the day's news, thoughtful takes on the larger issues, and biting commentary that will leave you laughing and crying. Sometimes at the same time. Sorry, Trevor Noah.

  • Dec 27, 2018
This show is hot garbage. The host is not funny he is annoying. The skits are all negative anti-trump. he is so holier than thou that she will not cover the issues on her show impartially.

Seth is smart and funny, does a great job of holding Trump's feet to the fire.
