Detective Elliot Stabler, former member of the Special Victims Unit and ex-partner of Capt. Olivia Benson, returns to the NYPD to battle organized crime after a devastating personal loss. However, the city and police department have changed dramatically in the decade he's been away, and he must adapt to a criminal justice system in the midst of its own moment of reckoning. Stabler joins the new task force taking on NYC's most powerful crime syndicate -- a case that has become deeply personal for him -- all while trying to rebuild his life, his family and his career as a police officer.

Making for a unique and fascinating entry in the Law & Order canon. It's encouraging to see a blockbuster hit series make a concerted effort to meaningfully address America's wake-up call regarding systemic racism.

Meloni is Meloni, so despite the generic nature, it was refreshing to see that this new storyline is a bit different than the others. It's still a decent watch, with more of a continual series story flow, and that looks to be really compelling to watch. I have every intention of remaining on board to see where it's going.

It's hardly innovative or ground breaking but Christopher Meloni manages to carry this series enough for it to be decent viewing. Season 2 is actually an improvement on the first so that's a promising sign.

Ridiculous waste of time and tv. Pumped up testosterone and stupidity. Over acting, poor acting, story lines that no one cares about. Let them all be killed off by one another already and put this miserable attempt at drama in its grave. Never deserved a second season …. Should have canned the first! 🤮🤮🤮🤮

I had high hopes for this series, but it SUCKS!!! Ridiculous story lines, too many of them. But the worst aspect of this show is that there is absolutely NO satisfaction. No closure, No nothing. Don't waste your time.
