Using the wisdom of wizards, Richard chases Fane in hope of taking back the sacred Book of Counted Shadows.

Richard finds that the D'Harans have taken over the village in which he was born.
Richard and Kahlan rescue a boy who has the ability to look into people's eyes and read their thoughts.
In a village where anyone can buy magic, Zedd faces off against a dangerous wizard who was once his student.
After seeing visions of the Seeker's death, sorceress Shota swaps Richard's identity with that of a merchant's son.
A Mord'Sith named Denna turns Richard's powers against him, testing the Seeker's will.
Zedd goes under cover in enemy territory in a bid to outsmart Darken Rahl and retrieve the third and final Box of Orden.
Kahlan disguises herself as a Mord'Sith to free someone from her past, held captive at a D'Haran prison.

Jan 10, 2020I read the books and it doesnt follow it at all but I still LOVED it!!! Just treat it like an independent story with these characters and dont compare to the books Nd you will enjoy it

Sep 09, 2019This series is a great example of why Fantasy needs to be taken seriously and given a proper budget. This series is along the lines of the budget of Xena: Warrior Princess. Everything about this series just feels cheesy and unearned. The only part of it that is enjoyable is the comedic Wizard played by Bruce Spence. This show might have good source material buts its hard to tell buried underneath this rubbish. Watchable at best. Will not transport you into an escapist fantasy realm like fantasy television should.
