Critic Reviews for Level 9 Season 1

The acrobatics are indeed thrilling, though they are executed by performers whose acting style could charitably be described as wooden and amateurish. On this show, you can watch wood bend.

The easy-to-please target audience is the biggest thing Level 9 has going for it. They're happy as long as the villains are clearly reprehensible, the heroes saintly...and something goes bang or boom every few minutes. On that level, Level 9 delivers.

Whenever the action stops, the show is a tin man without an oil can.

This show earns points for originality. It's like taking a cop show and marrying it to the Internet...It should draw younger viewers, but won't be around for the long haul.

Nov 29, 2018 | Full Review…

The show is pulsating and foreboding, yet it doesn't take itself too seriously, flashing an occasional sense of humor.

Nov 29, 2018 | Full Review…

Applying best to UPN's glitzy new drama, "Level 9," is the good old-fashioned F-word. Formulaic.
