Feature-length episode 1 is a great movie with not much dialogue. 7.5/10 Feature-length episode 2 has poorly mixed dialog audio and more repetition than episode 1. 4/10 - Very Bad. I hope the other two feature-length eps (4 regular eps) are better as so far it's 5.75/10 - Poor editing. The stories work and it's the first time that a series earned that TV-MA rating. That said, the CGI is AWFUL! Overall, it's a strange but fun show. But if one views this as what would result from a story from Heavy Metal magazine done in live-action, the pieces fall into place. See more Jan 2, 2020 At first I was very Anti-Lexx, being prudish and stupid, but one day, having nothing else to watch, I caught an episode and realized how absolutely wonderful this show was. It was silly, full of 8th grade sexual i nuendo, but there was also a very solid plotline. The stories were well acted and had lots of humor, and seriousness in them. The CGI at the time was the best that could be budgeted and it is all actually really well done. The amazing thing is that the show doesn't take place on earth. It takes the viewers to other planets, other dimensions, and that is rarely done on any sci fi show anymore. The worlds are always filled with alien tech that no one understands and the race is long extinct. So, this show had a more interesting appoach to a universe that had a lot of diversity and it lent itself to the many fun episodes. While earth is featured in one season, it's the least interesting of them all. The show was fun, sexy, silly, and also really serious. Those of us who sang the song of the last of the Brunen Ji know that there was a lot of relevant entertainment in this series. It has been sorely missed. I'd love to see a new adaptation but with more seriousness so that the genius of the humor can peek through. See more Read all reviews
