Not turning away from a documentary as heartbreaking as this is a way to keep watching. In this climate, it begins to feel like a small act of resistance. Go to Full Review

Living Undocumented is a passionate piece of advocacy filmmaking, one that -- for all the tears and heart-wrenching moments -- will likely end up preaching to the choir. Go to Full Review

Living Undocumented aims to debunk the myths around immigration, and humanize the image of the faceless non-descript immigrant boogeyman Trump has created. It's an engrossing series with heart-breaking stakes and no neat happy endings. Go to Full Review

10/21/2019 SO HARD to watch but selena g deserves all the credit here See more Greg M @SolisisQ 10/08/2019 It's not bad per say. Abstracting political ties, it follows a series of people who experienced bad times and family break ups after the recent administration enforced a strict rule on deportation. Not just limited to the trump era, mind you. It is pretty touching and you will probably feel bad for them. If not... you have already made up your mind about this and probably won't watch it anyhow. What gets me though is that none of these docu-series about undocumented citizens cover the grey areas outside the standard middle to low class. There's one guy with a pretty successful business partnership but that's still fairly middle class. I want to see them include cases of wealthy undocumented people who were either deported along with the others, or not deported and why. It would be fair to include stories where undocumented people's contributions to society were largely beneficial and their deportation would negatively affect the economy and lives of the citizens they employ and reach as a business or as a stand alone person. Instead, the series focuses on a selection of individuals who will no doubt be ridiculed by the collection of americans who just outright refuse to hear their cases and consider that they are not the drain on society many claim them to be. Maybe in upcoming seasons, but I don't have high hopes for this. We all know money buys you privilege in this country. Let's see some cases of that and try to rationalize why one's income somehow makes them more of a human than another.
