The episode looks great. Its major problem however, is its dramatic structure... It’s incredibly frustrating at times, like an episode of the sitcom Three’s Company, in which every bit of conflict is based on a misunderstanding

1893 has the feel of a Loki episode playing to the series’ strengths. It balances elements of comedy and fairly melodramatic Marvel storytelling rather deftly, retaining a sense of atmosphere whilst factoring into a broader storyline.
