Diane B @BklynWriter Dec 27 Much like the series Seven Up, there's something poignant about seeing these two famous friends (okay, one more famous than the other) age and grow as the travelogue series progresses. And their genuine love for the open road shines through -- as does the fact that McGregor's marriage is doomed. Can's completely blame the needy, spotlight-seeking wife but let's just says she's a stark contrast to the other mate. See more 01/21/2021 I am a big fan of the series. We watched the first series, Long Way Round, 2004, which we loved, so we are now finishing Long Way Down, 2007. Charley and Ewan are both engaging people and the trip through African countries and people they meet are also wonderful. The fact that they promote Unicef and children throughout their shows is also an added bonus. Looking forward to watching the latest, Long Way Up, 2020. We streamed Apple TV app. See more Read all reviews
