In an exploratory look at great racing cathedrals of the past, third-generation NASCAR champion Dale Earnhardt Jr. hosts a journey across the country to unearth the secrets of long-forgotten racecourses, now abandoned and overtaken by nature. Earnhardt Jr. and fellow ghost track enthusiasts trek to speedways still echoing with tales of racing's roots -- including his storied family tree of legendary drivers. Weaving across the American Midwest, Earnhardt Jr.'s crew makes its way through Prohibition-era underbellies and haunting shells of notoriously lethal raceways. Dusting off memories and milestones, the ghost trekkers put racecourse giants on the map in all their lore from the glory days of racing's checkered past.

10/28/2020 I'm not a huge race fan. I do watch NASCAR occasionally. I am however, a huge history geek. I found the show to be excellent. So much so that I ended up binge watching the entire (too short) season. The history of the tracks visited was fascinating, and the collaboration between Earnhardt and Dillner, is like sitting down with close friends and talking about the good ole days. You get the excitement and feeling as though you were there when t happened. This show is thoroughly enjoyable. See more Read all reviews
