A great series from beginning to end and sad that there is no current network that will fund another couple of seasons as this title has legs that can run and run. See more David R @dregenspan Jan 18, 2024 The problem with Loudermilk is that, though Ron Livingston's performance is brilliant, it is a one trick pony. I will admit I quit it during the second season, so perhaps this review is not entirely fair. Nevertheless, Loudermilk does not seem to grow as a man, and his incessant insults and parodies of other people get to be more grating than funny. One also has to wonder why, in this Internet age when anyone can publish criticism, Samuel Loudermilk does not return in some fashion to being a rock and pop critic, if only in a blog. After all, he does have a book to his credit, and I got a hoot over "All You Need is Love" being on his list of songs to kill yourself to. By all means give this a try. Certainly one season is worth it, and Loudermilk certainly says things out loud that all of us have wanted to say sooner or later. See more Read all reviews
