Incredible season. The story takes you through the best and worst of Louie's dark comedy. Michael Drayer is the perfect bully.

I just realized after watching the show till the very last episode, that it's a really distinguishing kind of art segregating audience into absolute lovers and wtf-ers. Majority of people would react like boring/didn't getters rarely finding few laughs and not really getting into the atmosphere. And it's a very special feeling to find someone who shares your adoration of this series. In case you succeed it would probably be the most profound relationship of any sort for your entire lifetime.

The 1st season wasn't 100% comedy, it was more 65% comedy & 35% life. This means that not everything is super funny but most of it is really touching. Also there was at least 1 episode where he was trashing the shit of a blond girl who interrupted him from the 'audience" and it was very bad comedy. Other then that very solid season

(all seasons) A one of a kind endeavor combining C.K.'s stand-up routines with a variety of inspired short incidents, characters and recurring threads that range from hilarious to awkward and from the very real to the deliberately surreal. C.K. can be enjoyably crass one moment and startlingly sensitive or even artsy the next and this unexpected symbiosis of extremes (and a lot in between) renders "Louie" a very poignant affair.

What 'Louie' does is groundbreaking. It's Seinfeld but with the issues you people are afraid to talk about in public. That makes it edgy. Louie CK is honest and refreshing and a joy.

Gave Louie a try since it came up on Emmy Outstanding comedy series & Lead actor! Well, Its a rant which is occasionally offensive and often profane (didnt bother me at all). Life of a Comedian with so many awkward/miserable moments that it makes you so uncomfortable but at the same time its so insanely funny and you are left with this bag of emotional jizz lol. Terrific writing recommended totally - But only for open minded ones!
