One of TV's better shows, comedy or drama, because this series often succeeds as both. (But beware, it's not for all viewers-- there's a lot of vulgarity here.)

Louie, one of the greatest sitcoms on TV today, is raunchy, foulmouthed and edgy in many ways. Yet its dirty little secret is that the show is firmly rooted in classic comedy.

Having watched the first five episodes of Season 3, Louie is as great as ever and seems to be shifting into a higher gear, when no one thought that option was even available.
