This animated anthology has enough creative Death to satisfy cyberpunk aficionados who Love their Robots to have some Heavy Metal influence, but the series' lofty ambitions are often undercut by a preoccupation with gore and titillation. Read critic reviews

S1: Niezależne, krótkie odcinki, cierpią na syndrom zbioru opowiadań - ok pomysły, za mało rozbudowane by mnie usatysfakcjonować. Sporo erotyki, penisów i krwi

An amazing series, it really demonstrates how much much talent is out there working in animation.

Some of the episodes I loved, some of them I didn't because they were not my taste; you either like some of the episodes or all of them or you don't like some episodes are all of them

A remarkable example of storytelling and stunning visuals perfectly intertwined. Stand out episodes are Sonnies Edge, The Witness and Zima Blue.

It took me a while to figure out what was the deal going in to this series and I was a little confused in the beginning. But this is unique. This series has no boundaries and no limits, its an explosion of creativity. For what it is it's perfect and it is breaking new grounds.

A pretty fun anthology, it's more incoherent that most of them since this time is a animated anthology where each short seems to be done by completely different crews, they wander between deep story, visual splendor, cartoonish world and plain comedy. You cannot predict how the next one will be! As always the quality vary especially here, and some of them are boring or redundant in themes. The main thing that can align all of them in some way are the title "Love, Death and Robot", there is gore, sex jokes, nudity, strong violence, it's unhinged and it makes everything even more entertaining. My favorite short was the hilarious "Three Robots" and my least favorite "Suits" which fails to impress in comparison to any other shorts this season.

Apart from getting dazzled by the visuals and the weirdness of these stories, you really quickly begin to wonder "Where is the story going with this?", "Where are WE going with this?", "What is the point of all this?": and these are the questions the writers don't bother to ever answer. Besides from 1 or 2 exceptions, all these stories do is build up a conflict or tension and then just do nothing with it. Literally. The screen just goes black and the credits start rolling without any resolution to the story whatsoever. And when even your writers don't bother to care about the story's ending, you cannot expect the audience to do so either. Innovativeness does not compensate for a complete absence of purpose.
