Azire M @Azire Feb 12 I watched this show completely by accident, but honestly it is one of the best mistakes I have ever made. I had never really given romance anime or romance shows in general a chance before. My partner put this on, and it grabbed my attention from the very beginning and never let go. There were so many emotional moments, I found myself tearing up more than once. The story, the pacing, the way the characters connect, it just pulls you in. It actually pushed me to explore more romance shows, and even to create an account here just so I could leave this review. Highly recommended! See more Michaela T @michaela02 Jan 23 I stumbled upon this by chance and got absolutely captivated from the very first episode. I wish my Japanese had been better due to the English translation, which felt a little too loose and didn't fit the scenes in some cases. The pacing felt a little rushed in the last few episodes, compared to the first half of the show; however, the story still kept me on my toes. Although I found Lili a little annoying, I really enjoyed the characters in this show, mostly the dynamics within the friend group. The fact that they were classmates at university was a cherry on top - I love me some academia aesthetics. The overall aesthetics were probably the best part - the England and Japan setting allowed the anime style to shine truly. Moreover, I found the two monochromatic episodes as an interesting idea - to show how Lili's world lost colour after she had to leave London and let Kit go. Lastly, I feel like I needed to be reminded of the importance of art in one's life. See more Toren C @TheVisual Jan 23 Absolutely spectacular. If you want an anime with substance, as well as tolerable voice actors----watch this. I was highly impressed See more Augsute M @TTSWLADTAA Jan 18 I started watching it because the characters looked cute, but I stayed for the great relationships, interesting plot, great character development and just overall lovely atmosphere. I read some other reviews and people complained that one of the main plot points wasn’t used properly, but I didn’t think the story was affected too much by that. Yes they could have shown more of what was implied, yet the way they portrayed the moment I think it gave enough context to understand what was happening. Maybe the ending was a tad bit rushed, but I still felt the idea they were conveying. I tend to rate movies and series according to if I want to rewatch it immediately. And this one I wanted to repeat the moment it ended. If I look at it more critically maybe the beginning was pretty slow and when it came to the big change it went by a bit too fast but I still really liked it. Overall I think it is a lovely series and I definitely recommend watching it. See more Read all reviews
