This dynamic could have been fertile ground for a layered drama, but the writing is simply too weak to support it. What unfolds across eight episodes is a drawn-out drama that rarely earns its emotional beats. Go to Full Review

It wasn’t the math but the easy chemistry between Mona Singh’s Vinita and Mihir Ahuja’s Agastya that kept me seated for this coming-of-age story. Go to Full Review

When it's not spouting excessive maths jargon -- algorithm alone is uttered a zillion times -- too many characters with too little context crowd the scenes and turn Maa Ka Sum into a slog. Go to Full Review

Maa Ka Sum sets out with a refreshingly quirky premise, blending love, logic, and the chaos of modern relationships, but ends up being as confusing as some of the equations it tries to solve. Go to Full Review

For stories like these, we needed more depth. But because most of the characters are underplaying the parts that they have been given, it is impossible to empathize with them. Go to Full Review

Peter P @RT97767032 May 1 Immature juvenile writing and a waste of talent , time and money. It's amazing how the writers and directors can not see the flaws in their own work. The plot is so weak it's laughable . The protagonist's character is not well drawn out and super flawed what could have been great is let down by bad writing and even worse direction . Amazon made a big mistake funding this silly venture . Good actors totally let down by bad writing and weak direction See more Read all reviews
