Pierce D. @Pmoney_37 Nov 24 I only watched this because my dad watched it and he stopped at episode 3 when it first came out. When I saw him watching it, for some reason, something inside of me just bothered me. I don’t know what it was(maybe it was because I was in middle school). I’m now a junior in high school watched it for first time this weekend and it honestly wasn’t as bad as I remember. It’s honestly a really average show and really forgetful at some points. Depending on how deep you get into it, it just feels like a chore watching the rest. I feel like the main plot of aliens invading and the main characters needing to get off the planet is one of the most average plots ever. It’s been done many times before and better. This is one of those shows that I watch and never watch again and don’t recommend to anyone else. See more Nicholas K 10/13/2024 Nothing good about it. Visuals are clunky, characters are flat out awful, the main character is a trash human, the story makes no sense... The aliens are bullet proof but knives and sharp porcelain will cut them open, the air is poisonous except when they forget about it, their suits run out of air until that doesn't matter, the aliens float around slowly unless they need to attack helicopters... And the show has the worst use of humor I've ever seen in an anime in 30 years. See more Bruce D 09/01/2023 Outstanding example of how to write characters and character arcs. Professional, committed English voice acting. I think this is computer assisted Blender animation, nicely done. Not flashy yet not trashy in any respect. Very unusual in how it highlights the redemption of unsavory characters, using forgiveness without violins or abandoning its gritty sci-fi genre track. The eight episodes don't culminate in a tight third act. The story was designed to continue if there was a second season. Still the ending works well enuf to satisfy. See more David W @Sternhammer 03/08/2023 It's a little woke at times and it's characters a little woe is me but the overall story arc doesn't overstay its welcome at 8 episodes and moves briskly along. There are, however, many genuinely tense, exciting and moving scenes and for me they vastly outweigh any negatives. The English version is very well voice acted, I personally liked the animation style and overall found this series very enjoyable. Its certainly much better than the low critical score it's received here on RT. I'd personally score it in the 80's. I hope it gets another series but given the reviews...
