Ten new makers join Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman to show off their skills; for their first faster craft, they make a physical representation of themselves as a food item, and for the master craft, they recreate a favorite craft from their youth.
The makers craft projects for both inside and outside the home by transforming a blank wall into an artistic home installation for the faster craft; then, turning a standard mailbox into an eye-catching one with curb appeal for the master craft.
For the first time, the makers will pair up in the faster craft to create a coordinated couple's costume; then, in the master craft, they'll each show off their love for a furry friend as they make a house for a special animal in their lives.
The makers celebrate the holidays with Nick and Amy by, first, making a wreath out of unconventional materials for the faster craft; then, building an interactive lawn display to showcase their favorite holiday for the master craft.
The Makers transform an ordinary grocery store cake into an extraordinary confection using candy and different cake-decorating materials in the Faster Craft; then in the Master Craft, they must turn a boring cubicle into an inspirational workspace.
The Makers will create a piggybank in the form of the very item they are saving for; then in the Master Craft, they'll tap into their inner child to design a fun and unique bedroom any kid would enjoy.
Makers must transform an ordinary tool shed into a dream destination, a space representing their ideal vacation getaway; it's a good old-fashioned shed hack "staycation" style.
The final three makers create a three-dimensional party invitation that celebrates a unique occasion for a loved one in the faster craft; then, only one is named master maker when they must design that exact party in the master craft.

May 28, 2021With the exception of Amy's uncomfortable hug with Justine (I hear you Justine), this is a very kind reality show, with the nicest elimination band ever formed. A great reality show to watch and get inspired with your family.

Dec 23, 2019OMG, this show is perfect in every way. The hosts are so bright and witty and likeable, and the contestants so nice you don't want anyone to go home. And no one goes home, really, because he becomes joins the hosts and the others who are no longr on the show, playing in their amateur band. The crafts themselves are astonishing. How do they do it?

Dec 21, 2019Fun show! Can't wait for the third season."

Dec 12, 2019As much as it pains me to write anything negative about Making it season 2 has been a huge let down. I loved the first season with it's creative crafts as well as the hilarious combo of Nick and Amy. However this season has seemed ruahed and lost site of the crafting focus. If making it gets a third season I hope that they choose contestants that make projects with viewers in mind. This season has been so focused on art and the crafts have just been impractical builds that no one could do at home. Re watch season 1 and you will see the difference.
