Stan S 12/03/2023 Certainly very engaging. It draws you in quickly and you want to find out what is happening with the characters. After the reveal in the final episode of season 1, however, I was very disappointed. The show engenders real murder-mystery style intrigue. The problem is that Cordon's character would never have acted the way he did up to that point in real life, had he done the things he did. See more OrisaIfa O 08/01/2023 I think that the chemistry between Colin Morgan and James Corden is spot on for this type of dry comedic drama. People give James Corden a hard time about his gigs, but you cannot deny that he is a very talented actor/performer. Colin Morgan matches Corden's chops. The show offers an interesting view of the potentials of human behavior in today's over-the-top complex world. I hope there will be a Season 2! See more samuel n 12/10/2022 Well....I was spellbound. I think James Corden and Sally Hawkins turned in their usual fine acting. The plot and script had me on the edge of my seat. Melia Kreiling is utterly exquisite, and I think she acted her part very well, although I was almost certainly too smitten by her beauty to judge her acting. However, I did find the ending off-putting. It seemed to leave so much hanging, unresolved, and puzzling. I guess I shall have to watch it again to decipher episode 6, or perhaps there will be another season. See more Hannah J 12/04/2022 This was a really promising show with lots of potential, yet sadly it crashed and burned at the end. For the first few episodes, I felt nauseated with what Jamie had to undergo and I think anyone who's been victim to infidelity will feel similar. I would say ep 1 - 5 were captivating, slightly confusing but overall binge-worthy. Episode 6 however ... Just deflates the whole thing, like a nail to a bouncy castle. It's quite upsetting to watch.
