Some lines are near the knuckle, but it's a splendid cast with plots that are gloriously demented. And it's worth it just to see Shaun Ryder. Go to Full Review

It's bold and ludicrous, but economical too. It don't mean a thing. It is, however, a glorious release from all those things that do mean a thing. Go to Full Review

Mandy is not quite as good -- not as tight, not as laugh-out-loud funny -- as I, a great fan of Morgan and worshipper of Cunk, was hoping for... But it is a fun way to spend 15 minutes. Go to Full Review

Will likely have some people in a bit of a tizzy, but it doesn't feel as though it was slipped in thoughtlessly. If only more telly was so proudly daft. Go to Full Review

Ciaran O @RT23985602 Nov 2 Painfully dated and cheap comedy. Surprising this released in 2020 and keeps getting renewed. While you can understand shows like Amandaland getting renewed year on year, this show feels like it was written and filmed in 2014-2015. The humour is that of an old cancelled bbc three show. Sure, Diane Morgan is clearly devoted to her role, but the rest of the cast cannot act. The show bounces between outlandish humour, which comes off as childish "I suppose we have to laugh" moments, all the way to moments of serious mockery of the lower class in British society. TV no longer needs a show written by middle upper class suburban career writers that makes a caricature of the "benefit scrounge" stereotype. We got past that and rinsed it for all it was worth in the early 2010's. Who genuinely watches this and finds it funny? You have to tell yourself "cue laughter" throughout. Utter drivel for crushed diamond millennials who play upper class housewives to laugh at See more K S @RT77884131 01/12/2025 Very funny and Diane Morgan is a comedian genius. Really looking forward for season 4. See more Ruth W @RT40450654 12/11/2024 Having read Paige Squirrel on the healing power of laughing I watched Ghost of Christmas Past on my iphone. Still laughing!! Please ask Diane Morgan to write another series as will save the NHS lots of money! See more Mat W @RT48037672 03/27/2024 Absolutely loved this show 😂 so silly! Watched it with my mum and we still quote it haha See more Cyrano d @Cyrano 02/07/2022 Stupid, stupid, stupid, predictable, cliche and utterly childish. Loving every minute of it. Roll on season 3!!! "Meat" was the best episode; I was crying with laughter when she was "walking" the dog. See more 01/16/2022 Diane Morgan is a comic genius: writer, director, comedienne, actress. She is an acute observer and satiriser of modern absurdities in TV, cinema, news, books, real life. Mandy reminds one of people you've met or read about, seen on TV as themselves or in acting roles, in a variety of genres from Hammer horror & sci-fi to crime melodramas & soap operas. They appear in a melange of outrageously absurd stories centred on larger-than-life Mandy played by Diane and supported by actors in multiple roles, with well known people in guest appearances. Recognition can bring belly laughs. In 'Meat', a devastated Mandy is convinced she has eaten an elderly man's dog & brings the 'remains' to show him. He is grief-stricken & the other men in the room are gobsmacked, but tragedy turns to comedy when a phone rings. Diane parodies the half-witted response of a 'victim' who was in the news every day for weeks some years ago, but turned out to be the perp. See more Read all reviews
