Fun, stylish and energetic, Marvel's Agent Carter is everything we wanted it to be - and everything Marvel Studios' first foray into lady adventure character stories should be.

Agent Carter has never leaned too heavily on action; that's just not what makes it exciting. The show follows its own rhythm, one that's a little more laid back than the Marvel films.

There's warmth and humour by the bucketload.

Agent Carter's two-hour premiere knocks most pilot episodes out of the water.

Peggy Carter to the rescue. And boy, can Marvel and ABC use her help.
October 21, 2015
After the obligatory flashbacks to 2011's Captain America: The First Avenger, from which ABC's new period entertainment/marketing opportunity/sleep aid Agent Carter springs, Agent Peggy Carter struts in.
October 21, 2015
A fairly entertaining conglomeration of nostalgia, postwar intrigue, comic-book science fiction and screwball comedy (with frequent interludes of bone-crunching violence).
October 21, 2015
Agent Peggy Carter is a marvelous addition to the cool women characters now prowling TV screens.

Peggy Carter rocks.

Peggy deserved her own story line and now she's got one.

Atwell's bountiful charisma, dynamic plot and direction, and some pleasingly pinging noir-ish dialogue have already made Agent Carter a TV hit.
March 11, 2015
With a star-making turn from Atwell and an overwhelming air of fun, it was a treat for both Marvel converts and new viewers.

With Hayley Atwell, clever writing and engaging action, the show has all it needs to be another outstanding and tremendously entertaining cog in the Marvel Studios machine.
January 7, 2015
The combination of the British actress and post-World War II setting make the Marvel-branded vehicle, Agent Carter, considerable fun, and in some ways more promising than the series it's replacing, the uneven Agents of SHIELD.
January 7, 2015
Agent Carter is ridiculously enjoyable. Despite not having the strongest story (another glittering orb Marvel? really?), the show is quick, genuinely fun, and Hayley Atwell is a damn delight as Peggy Carter.
January 7, 2015
In the end... it'll be the day-to-day action involving Peggy being Peggy that will keep viewers tuning in.
January 7, 2015
Atwell brings some presence to the lead role, flashing specs of vulnerability while mostly keeping her shoulder to the wheel.
