If you're wondering whether Spidey's popularity can possibly support yet another animated series, don't worry: It can.

Marvel's Spider-Man puts a new spin on a winning formula that finds a great deal of fun in taking the wall crawler back to basics.

A really pleasant surprise... just different enough from what has come before, especially with its visual style and the renewed focus on Peter and his high school life.

Audience Reviews for Marvel's Spider-Man: Season 1

Might be one of the worst spider-man show i've ever seen. The style they are going for looks way worse than any of the other existing spider-man shows. Take vulture for example, i've never seen him so bad ever, i cant explain it but it just is bad. A better example is the background and characters. Everything just looks so pale simple. The characters also look pale with no shadow or light. Most of the time the story feels rushed( for example: Miles' origin story is way to rushed. How do you fucking jump almost higher than a building without noticing, i mean he freaking parkour'd as if he has had several days of experience.) I also feel like they introduced the new spider-men and spider-women way to fast. They should have just started slow making the audience able relate to spidey. While i'm talking about everybodys favourite neighboor there are some major problems with him too. I understand that spider-man tells jokes in the comics, but those are actually funny pluss HE DOESN'T TELL THEM EVERY FIFTH SECOND!!!!!. Like my guy, based on the dialoge in some of the episodes it feels like you know that it is a problem. I feel like he is wayyy to thin and wimpy, because the bite was supposed to make him stronger and one of the key elememts of geting stronger is increased mussel mass. Honestly there are many more problems about the show that i, unfortiounatley do not have time to go over. One last thing i feel like marvel animatons should look over is, again, the style. That is one of the things fans have been triggerd the most of, i honestly wont believe you if you say that you have never been told that before. For me and many others that is a problem and something that definetly wont fix the problem is intergrating the "famous" style from this show into others.(Avengers assemble ,newest season, and Guardians of the galaxy)

Much better than the Ultimate Spider-Man, and neither is it a cartoon that breaks the fourth wall or speaks to viewers in the midst of a fight, which I recommend for kids, teens and adults to watch, as it has a great history with some differences, more good.

Ugly artwork, boring animation and a puerile story.

Despite the near endless supply of Spider-Man stories and the extensive black log of Spider-Man TV series, his newest version still manages to bring together the best of the bunch of stories and give it a modern-day down-to-earth street level approach the character is known for. It’s great to see the characters solving their issues with scientific application; the high-light being Gwen Stacy’s occasional interjection into Spider-Man’s battles. The strongest part of this series is the importance put on Peter Parker and his allies’ and adversaries’ education. Teens actually go to school in this series, and fret when things delay and prevent their attendance.

Terrible series, Ultimate Spiderman was thousands of time much better.

scientifically speaking this spider man show is one of the best i have ever seen i loved that spider man went back to his roots as the high school kid who was bitten by a radioactive spider and is still struggling with his powers i can't wait to see more of this show in the future
