The first five episodes are promising, laying the foundation of an interesting battle yet to take place between the siblings and their father. Hopefully, the final five episodes deliver on its promises.

There are times Helstrom is truly terrifying and it has the potential to serve as a cataclysm as it makes fans realize horror content is a necessity in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The gallows humor is sharp, the casting is spot-on, and the story is ripped from the pages of Marvel -- all of which makes for a riveting ride.
