I was completely entertained by this out of the box story that is surprisingly also a connect the dots history of bawdy, literary, corrupt, royal and not so royal Jacobean England. Her character was well written and ofcourse the scenes with the King and the King's men were fantastic to watch. It did kind of fly by at the end but definitely a fun binge. Alas it skips several very important steps in story and a lot of times sex is just thrown in the face of audience. Not bc it makes sense story wise or characters have chemistry with each other. Love without buildup is just horrid and boring. Julieanne Moore carried the show, if it wasn't for her it would have been unwatchable.
