Critic Reviews for Mary Kills People Season 2
All Critics (5) | Top Critics (2) | Fresh (5) | Rotten (0)
One of the most successful elements of this canny series lies in the fact that the writing and Caroline Dhavernas' performance never explicitly spell out why there is darkness in this complicated woman.
Mary Kills People is still full of portrayals worth appreciating, led by the engrossing and beguiling Dhavernas.
There's a lot going on here: comedy, drama, philosophy. But a stellar lead performance from Dhavernas is the glue that holds all these genres together and the end result is something a bit special. -
I love how this show seamlessly weaves cerebral concepts with dramatic storytelling.
The action hits the ground running and NEVER. LETS. UP. I'm not ashamed to admit that I audibly gasped multiple times watching and genuinely admire the risky twists running amuck through this season's plot already.

Mar 23, 2018Grear show! So glad it's back. It's appointment watching for me and the wife. So far season 2 is living up to the high standards set in season 1.

Feb 09, 2018Love his show. It kind of reminds me of Dexter in that he killed those who were evil & deserved to die. Mary Kills People terminally ill people who want to die and pay Mary to help them. But Mart gets caught up with a lot of bad people in the process. Really good not your typical cop or doctor tv series. I so hope there is a season 3.
