We get thoughtful writing and a vulnerable depiction of how essential it is to be beside those we love in trying times. From platonic relationships to romantic, everything about this season underscores the importance of love in its many forms. Go to Full Review

Maxton Hall Season 2 is fine, but it chooses to run through situations and feelings instead of exploring them deeper. Go to Full Review

While Harriet Herbig-Matten and Damian Hardung try their best to keep the story from veering too far off the rails, anything that is good or at least decent in this season is overshadowed by its cartoonishly evil villains. Go to Full Review

Maxton Hall still retains the seductive, overpowering rush of a heady YA romance. Go to Full Review

Maxton Hall: The World Between Us enters its second season with a bang, having its main characters immediately go off the rails in the first episode. We can’t wait to see where the action takes us from here.. Go to Full Review

Maxton Hall season 2 delivers more drama and angst than ever before. However, its greatest asset is the performances of its star-crossed lovers. Damian Hardung and Harriet Herbig-Matten keep the story emotionally grounded. Go to Full Review

Pedro Henrique C @Pedro2005 1h Maxton Hall - The World Between Us - Season 2: It started out very promising and ended very sadly, I can't wait for the third part of this story! See more Amethyst @Amethyst449 Feb 19 I would have normally given more stars but I think this show is quite problematic and makes women's plot lines collapse around toxic men. The writing in season 2 was incoherent with season 1 (I assume and heard there were different writers for each), it felt like watching a show produced by Disney Chanel and HBO at the same time. Season 1 was pretty enjoyable if seen as a silly and fun watch to turn your brain off See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Feb 18 Maxton Hall Season Two struggles to capture the charm of its first season, feeling more like a watered-down ripoff of Gossip Girl than its own show. Secrets and drama unfold in person rather than online, which makes the intrigue feel flat and unengaging. The writing seems rushed, lacking the depth and creativity needed to keep viewers invested. Casting and relationship choices often feel forced, and many storylines miss opportunities to develop meaningful character arcs. The dialogue occasionally comes off unnatural, and key plot points feel predictable, stripping the season of suspense or emotional payoff. While it isn’t a terrible show, the season ultimately feels lackluster, failing to leave a lasting impression or justify continued viewing beyond curiosity. With stronger writing, pacing, and character depth, this could have been a genuinely compelling teen drama. See more Khaztiel Delbod D @khaztielddenver_ Jan 2 Cada episodio era un sufrimiento que quería evitar, me gusto el desarrollo del personaje pero si siento que en esta temporada todo se repetía a cada instante. See more Lorena G @LorenaGL Dec 23 Six episodes weren't enough for giving a proper development to the story, many stuff felt rushed and pointless. As someone who read the book, they didn't included relevant conversations and moments. The acting is good but, again, some stuff felt superficial. Season 1 was better adapted. See more Lucia R @descrts Dec 11 I hated this season💀 the script was my major problem. It was full of cringe moments See more Read all reviews
