In the second series of this comedy, Mel (Melissa Joan Hart) has her home renovated, and she and Joe (Joey Lawrence) clash over boundary issues. Their romantic lives continue to be chaotic: Mel asks Joe to bolster her unemployed boyfriend's self-esteem before she breaks up with him; and one of Mel's friends requests that Joe be her sperm donor. Mel and Joe even try selecting dates for one another, and eventually Joe meets an intriguing woman from Russia. Meanwhile, Lennox (Taylor Spreitler) writes a school play and starts her own blog; and Ryder (Nick Robinson) takes an interest in the stock market, much to Joe's chagrin. Guest stars include Christine Lakin, Rita Rudner and Jackie Hoffman.

    I love this season too!

A nice light hearted entertainment. There are only a few well defined and memorable characters. Joey Lawrence, you might remember him from Blossom, is now not only more mature, but, I feel, does an awesome performance here, Melisa was already great in her teenage years in Sabrina and here her bubbly personality makes a great comeback. The two characters previously unknown to me, did also a convincing job as the adolescent nephew and niece of the politician played by Melissa. Overall, very good chemistry between all the actors, and season 2 builds up rather well on all the background history established in season 1

Season 2: I got to say that season 2 was about the same as season 1. But the only differences is that the really got to know there characters a lot better.
