It isn't the worst thing on TV, but the show's makers are trying to hard to check too many boxes they forgot to make it funny. Quaid lends some star power, but he is starting to look a bit past his sell by date.

You know despite the reviews I really liked this show, I though it had a great cast of characters with some simple sitcom family problems.

It was enjoyable. Acting was ok, but the storyline was interesting and funny. One thing that was very strange was how the dad was not open minded to anything like a different religion or someone being gay or the guy being a musician, but he had no problem with dating a black woman and no one even thought that was unusual for a man who was close minded to everything

Thinking this was a Christmas show, we watched, Couldn't see where it was going, but now as we watch it, we see it as a comedy show with really good cast! Hopefully, it will catch on!

It seemed like good old fashioned family entertainment. No bad language, no nudity, just family tv. Reminded me of some of my family traditions.

It's finally a decent Netflix sitcom. The show seems to fit the modern American family well.

It may be good for 9-13 age group. It feels very Disney channel. With that being said, I'm an adult and found myself quickly losing interest until I wasn't even watching. I wouldn't even watch this to go to bed at night. Played out storyline.

Funny and relatable comedy about family dynamics! Some parts are definitely exaggerated but the different personas are developed in a way that any audience member can identify with an on-screen character.
