Life isn't easy for Miranda. Whatever she attempts -- whether it's dating or dealing with her overbearing mother, to whom Miranda is a constant disappointment -- she always seems to fall flat. Miranda is desperate to fit in with her girly friends from boarding school, but that is hard to do as she is 6 feet 1 inches tall and gets called "sir" a bit too often for her liking. One of Miranda's main problems is she doesn't know how to behave around men, which is especially bad because her mother is desperate for her to find a husband. Despite all this, Miranda can be happy -- usually while playing games at her joke shop, which is managed by her childhood best friend, Stevie.

Miranda Hart just has funny bones. You have or you haven't. And she has. Go to Full Review

It's a struggle to decide whether Hart considers her viewers to be so mentally challenged that they can't see the joke implied, or if she genuinely thinks she's being funny. Go to Full Review

You can't turn mugging to the camera into an art form as she does here without being seriously good at comedy. Go to Full Review

Miranda is a lot of things, but it does not miss on humor. [Full Review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

Miranda Hart is just one of those naturally funny people and for all this sitcom's silliness, her efforts are a joy to watch. Go to Full Review
Phil Hogan Observer (UK) 09/11/2018
But there's always a sharp sensibility at work - in Hart's gleeful observations of Miranda's post-Bridget Jones victimhood... and if anyone is more hilariously note-perfect at being one than Sally Phillips, I'd hate to meet them. So, yes, more. Go to Full Review

02/23/2019 Miranda's sophomore season thankfully recognizes the enjoyment gained out of it's light and fluffy 30 minute formula, but still never refuses to be an average sit com, bringing in intriguing character developments and stories each episode, and never bringing on a dull moment.
