Usually there's a weak character or two in a series, but not this one. Pierce Bronson is beautifully deranged, Helen Mirren is wonderfully psychotic, and Tom Hardy goes through it all with such a tight lid, it is masterful to watch. Basically, I love the well known characters and who would not want to watch Pierce and Helen move forward in their craft. I loved it. I want to see more things blow up than blood and guts. Yes, it’s Mobland, but irony is definitely part of the plots and outcomes of each scene. Kill or be killed is the plot I think and it’s fun to watch these well known icons and new cast members shine. I’ll watch it and it’s ok, but that’s about it.
